Foxglove Herpetology Zippo trick:
Rest the base of the lighter in the Webbing between your index and middle finger. 

Use the sides of these fingers to grasp the lighter, the hinge should be facing you. 

Now practice opening the Cap with your thumb. Just rub your thumb across the back corner, 
it should pop right open. Also work on doing this quick and inconspicuously. 

Once you have mastered that simply add a downward wipe with your other hand to strike the flint wheel. 
These two moves should be done simultaneously as to create the illusions that you are using only one 
move to open and light the lighter. 

To close bring your hand back upward, but use your thumb to close.
