Piss Off! Zippo trick:
Cradle the lighter with your index finger on the bottom and your thumb on the side. 
The hinge should be facing downwards and the cap is closer to your palm. 

Flick your wrist downwards and the lighter should open in-between your index finger and your middle finger. 

Now move your ring finger so its behind the body and it pushes the lighter so that the 
body of the lighter is held by your index finger and middle finger. 

Light with your index finger and keep it flexed. 

Now if this description is accurate you should end up flippin' the bird to whoever's cigarette you are lighting!
