Have the lighter with hinge faced up and the lid to the left.
Place your index finger on the bottom side, your middle finger 
on the hinge and your ring on the bottom of the lid.
Squeeze your middle finger down and the lid will open.
Turn your hand so your palm is facing down while doing that 
light the lighter and close with your ring finger.
